London Ceilidhs with @JohnTheCaller

I run a series of relaxed, informal ceilidhs in London throughout the year. No previous experience is needed and complete beginners are very welcome.

I teach each dance from the floor before the music starts and continue calling as everyone dances, so you can simply turn up and join in. The emphasis is on straightforward dances, good music and a friendly atmosphere rather than formal reeling.

Regular London Ceilidhs

I currently run four London ceilidhs each year at St Columba’s Church, Pont Street: Burns Night, Spring, Harvest and Christmas Ceilidhs

They are open to everyone, whether you already know some Scottish dances or have never tried a ceilidh before.

Coming to a Ceilidh

You do not need to bring a partner, wear anything special or know any of the dances beforehand.
