A ceilidh or reeling evening is a great way to bring colleagues together, whether for team building, client entertainment or simply a social evening.

I’ve called at more than 800 events and have worked with companies and professional firms across law, property, finance and other sectors. The format can be completely informal for beginners, or more structured for groups with some reeling experience.

How it Works

I teach each dance clearly before the music starts and continue calling as everyone dances, so no previous experience is needed.

For a corporate event, I normally keep things simple and energetic, choosing dances that get people mixing quickly without making anyone feel self-conscious. The programme can be adapted to suit the size of the group, the venue and the amount of time available.

Music & Equipment

I can provide high-quality recorded music through my own PA system, or work alongside a live Scottish dance band.

For larger events, I can also recommend bands and musicians I regularly work with.
